Pong extends from the long and loud history of Ed Hall, one of Austin's most popular post-punk bands. The band called it quits in 1996, but Pong takes the core trio of guitarist Gary Chester, bass player Larry Strub and drummer Lyman Hardy, adds synthesizer player Shane Shelton and guitarist Jason Craig from such other Austin faves as the Pocket Fishrmen and ST-37. This makes Pong an Austin supergroup of sorts, but the hybrid band quickly developed its own distinct identity by splicing the punk rock power of Ed Hall with touches of hip hop, electronic and experimental music and even some pop harmonies. Pong's latest release, bubble city, displayes a giant leap forward for these Austin scene vets, overflowing with disco drums, mirror ball grooves and interesting harmonies.

Sheer Khan and the Space Case formed in January of 2009 as a quest to play something different and original. The basic concept of the band is to have an ever evolving project that is free of restrictions. In playing that way, our style is hard to describe because each member brings their own style. There is a lot of mixing and matching of different types in the process. Heavy influences of our style include, Funk, Rock, Reggae, Blues, Jazz, and Space Ambience. The band consists of four members, Aadrian Pedroza on Drums, Brice Bowden on Guitar/Vox, Kasey Jaime on Bass, and David McKnight on Sax/Keys.

Beaver was formed in 2008 by ex- AgENTS OF gOlDSTEIN bassist turned guitarist Pickles and Padawan bassist Clark Gray. After shuffling members for about a year, Paul Schaab joined the line up. In late 2009, ex Mugzu drummer Dan Sullivan joined the party along with Pauly "Infidel" Castro and Scott "Scooby" Blackwell. After Scooby and Pickles left the band, Chris (aka "Chim-Chim") joined the band in December 2011. Paul, Infidel, and Chim-Chim were all also former members of the AgENTS OF gOLDSTEIN. Based in Denton Texas, the band is currently working on recording their first self produced album and writing original songs.
