Still, does anybody buy her explanation ?
If you ask 'has anyone seen molly' at a place like Ultra, how do you think the crowd will interpret it? Her response was a cop-out, washing her hands of any guilt when she should've just fessed up to it.

Madonna sucks. She's such a tryhard loser anymore it's disgusting. She got replaced by Lady Gaga, who happens to be way more talented than she ever was, and she can't handle it.
You're either trolling or deaf. Madonna sucks now, but at her peak she was excellent at what she did. She just can't handle that it's over now.

Yeah, Madonna does come across as a try-hard these days.
"Ray of Light" was a good, electronic-influenced pop album at a time when MDMA use in America was still very taboo. If she wanted to be edgy or controversial, naming THAT album MDNA would have made sense.
But now, all these years later, after even rappers have been referencing the drug for years... THIS is when you decide to make an album called "MDNA"?
SRussell is right, Lady Gaga has her beat in every way. You could even say that the recent resurgence in EDM-influenced pop is the direct result of Lady Gaga's first album. Madonna can't compete.

Some people just need to learn when their time in the spotlight is done. She should be more worried about raising her kids than making albums named after drugs that been around since the 70's.

Alright, a lot of people here are saying Madonna is an idiot and gave a cop out excuse. Obviously she was referring to MDMA - but of course you can't openly say "who here is rollin on pills!!!", she needed to be a little more subtle about it. The uptight and probably hypocritical Deadmau5 forced an excuse out of her, and while it is a bull excuse, if you ask a stupid question you get a stupid answer.
Lets all just be honest here - music and drugs - there is a correlation. Festivals and drugs - even more a correlation. If you want to go to a festival sober - that's awesome- enjoy yourself. But why look down on the all the other people trying to have a good time? Festivals have always been one of the few places where people can trip face and not have anyone judge you for it. For some people its their one escape all year long. Imagine if Deadmau5 said that at woodstock, it'd be the biggest party foul ever.
And since when is it bad for artists to speak their mind? If they support drug use or not, awesome. Who are you to say if its good or bad?
But worst of all - of all the edm songs which include drug references played at the wmc year after year - why would Deadmau5 target Madonna of all people? For his own ing rat publicity.
Basically Madonna is 100x cooler than deadmau5, NOT cause she supports drug use, but because she isn't the one getting her panties in a bunch over it!
