Tight on budget, need headphones

At that price range, they're pretty much all going to be crappy closed-back cans, so I'd say just go to Guitar Center and try them on to see which one fits you the best. Then, listen to a metric ton of reference tracks until you know exactly what they should sound like. You may luck out, though, and find a pair of open or semi-open headphones in your price, so I'd suggest going with one of those for the best bass response. |

sorry to say, but 50 euros is not enough to buy a good phone, but maybe one of these can help you...

I would choose the akg...
I get cool results with "koss the plug" too... I bought the third one last saturday... Its not good for mastering, but I can use it for average results on the mixdown... You can get them with 15$...
You can check the classic "koss porta pro" too...
I've both, but I prefer the plug for mixing...
I've a sennheiser hd 280 too, that is better than both koss, but its on other price range...
And last... Take care with the false koss headphones...
Good luck. |

Beyerdynamic is a great name in the headphone market, I used once the DT990 in Fabio Stein studio... Its amazing and I plan to buy one someday...
I would go for it instead the shure's, imo shure is better producing microphones, hehe... |
