No clue where the thread went for this party, but I had a blast again this year! However, a couple cons...
WTF - we had to stop in the middle of Wippenberg's set to get ICE and the yacht crew made him shut down the music for 5-10 min. Totally killed the vibe for a while.
There were a lot of rude F#*(), on this boat...sorry, but just because you have doesn't mean you can try to squeeze your way in front. One of the photographers squeezed up to the front, which is fine...take your pics BUT then ing stayed there for over an hour barely taking any pictures, texting on his phone. This, by the way made this guy who next to me crammed into me and I saw his R elbow a majority of that hour. Take your pics and move on, asshat.
The DJ table was a stupid idea. They used this for all the yacht parties, it was a narrow (small) wooden podium barely wide enough for 2 people to stand next to each other. It so so small that anyone standing up front could easily knock the USB loose, spill the drinks or fist punch the DJ in the face which literally happened almost so many times. I felt bad for DJ Row trying to keep people back, but it was so crazy and packed that there was no way. Emma got on the table several times and the podium was tipping, I was on the other side and tried to hold it down but kept getting yelled at to get my hands off. Whatever.
Next year, try to organize the line to get on to the boat BEFORE you open the doors. You have a cluster of people in line and then pull the get into 2 lines separating guys and girls.
The PROS! The opener was awesome, Wippenberg handled the BS great and got the vibe back in order for CG. CG threw down a great set and DJ ROW closed it very nicely with some throwbacks, yessss! Gotta love the beer prices, cheapest all week!
Some of my friends said that would be their last CG yacht party, because it just gets too crazy. BUT I'll be back again, right up front just like the last 2 years. Even though this year I had to battle off some sneaky individuals. |

| I completely agree with you....the line was do disorganized....having to get ice..equals...disorganized....but i love the concept....n i tried to see Emma Hewitt but the second floor was so packed....i stayed upstairs....danced...and got more sun ...loved the view |

I made my review already about this party
I just don't get it ...how come where over sold and almost 5 people din't make it to the boat ??? If it wasen't for the captain those guys will never make it ...but they have like 1000 of securities everywhere is that count as a crew ?? why a crew will get in and not someone who pay ?
And also a Horse ??? WT ef ?? :eek:
Fun fun fun after all I guess we where the most happy lay back boat party !!!
And we din't get yell by the owner of the boat like others did !!!:haha: |

| out of curiosity , how big was the boat, buddy of mine just bought a 53 ft boat thats 16 foot wide and we were wanting to do something like this on it but unsure if it would be big enough |
