Russians and Lounge House

The dominance in the lounge house genre by russians is getting relevant at this point.

Mango, Dinka (Chris Reece), Alexey Belozerov, Smooth Stab aka Soarsweep, Arty and many many more...

So why do you think this happens? Is it cause in Russia is too cold and they naturally tend to imagine warm sunset-scapes?

I have to annotate anyway that they make quality tracks. For me this is the genre of the decade. It hasn't been exposed so much as trance which allowed for its genuine preservation.

Huh? The first sounds like typical "prog" trance from 2008 with a long ambient intro, second sounds like generic trance chillout. I don't get how this is even a new subgenre, much less one that belongs under house.

Both were inoffensive but pretty boring really...

OP, you're a mad man.

lol, lounge house.

The production/sound quality of these tracks often sucks balls.

Check out Ilya Malyuev, he's better than all the names you mentioned

Russia is up and coming as a part of the BRIC nations from an economic standpoint. I'm seeing more and more music coming out of Russia in general the last year or so. Sellers are selling on discogs from Russia and having success. Labels are cropping up in several EDM sub genres, all based out of Russia. This was unheard of 5 years ago just like its unheard of to find EDM coming out of China now.

As the western nations slowly fade away I expect to more from them and less from the west.
