Hey I would really love some feedback on my newest track. Soundclouds automatic downsampling to 128kbps really mangled the track even though I used proper dithering. I think I used too much distortion towards the muddier frequencies. Lesson learned though. I had to create a separate sub synth to give the track more low end and it took forever to get it to mesh.
I'd prefer if you judged the track by the 320kbps version which can be downloaded here: [[ LINK REMOVED ]]
Anyone know if there is a trick to the production process that makes it so that your track doesn't become extremely horrible sounding when it is converted down to lower bit rates? Perhaps mastering it all in audio and dithering each individual channel instead of just the final stage in the signal chain on the master output?
