Hello guys. been a while since i've been back on TA and I was hoping you guys could help me to create this certain pad/texture. Its obviously very simple, and pretty dry. I can create great dub stabs using the proper chords, but the pad that can be heard panning at 2:41 is what i have been trying to create. While automating the filter, with saws I can only get the very lo-fi hum of the saw waves, or the grimey metallic sound of them, and not the subtle, warm growl I am seeking like the one found in this track. I've tried different phaser settings, chorus, and other things. It sounds like he has a thin whitenoise on one of the oscialltors, turned way down, maybe to bring that warmth and calm nature of the sound. Again at 2:41 is where it really begins to stick out, the phasing, panning sound.

It sounds like a multi-tap delay too.
