When you touch the DJM's (any of them) it is like nothing you have ever used b4. The 600 in my opp is the best.

As for club mixing......I have not been to a club yet in the US that uses the pioneer mixers. All (at least in the milwaukee and chi town area) use Rane mixers. They are very very expensive........but....the faders and EQ's are un believable. I Love my DJM 500 (only cause I have black techs and it looks soo nice)

If you are a bedroom DJ that plans on expanding at a later time, the 600 is great if you have the wallet to support it.

My oppinoin on the 3000. I think pioneer did this so they actually had a 19" rack mixer that could be mounted w/o the extra plates that the 500/600 has.

Anywho. Still a killer mixer. Clean EQ, easy slope to scratch and all and very precise sampler. The 600's is much cleaner and precise.

Well, i went out and bought it today. Man, I actually drewled on it when playing with it. Managed to get $400 bucks off which was nice. It's pretty damn nice but i'm still trying to figure out how everything works. I finsihed step 1 in the instructions which was cover BPM counter with white out.

Hehe you know you can turn off the BPM right? :D White doesn't match the dark gray of the mixer. ;)

hey cheggy
ahh, i got the 600, mainly cos of the spacial issues. I don't really have enough room for a 19" mixer.

How much did you get it for? I'd just like to know how mucht hey are in the Eastern States.. the 600 and 3000 here is around $1900-2000... and if you did have the space for the 3000, you would get use to its size after a while as my friend has. The 3 new effetcs are very useful.. but anyway, congrats on the 600
hey cheggy
I was quoted $2,300 for the 600. Pioneer put the price up for them.

The prices i got were $1,900 for the 600 and was offered the 3000 for $1,700.

Before i freak out over the price. What is the conversion from Aust $ to US $??

Just wanna see how fair the prices are around the world
DJ LIQUID
I bought my DJM600 for $978USD after taxes ;)

hey cheggy
$978 us is about $1,900 australian.

the cheapest i've ever seen a DJM-600 in the UK is £495, i'm not sure what that converts too in USD, but its pretty cheap, :)
