Yea, I'm totally surprised that there aren't, at least, a handful of reviews by now, lol. So, it was packed after all, huh? A friend of mine who went said it was, up until around 3:00 AM. Also, that by the time he left at 5:00 the party was still going:eyespop: That's good to hear! While I don't hate the venue, just wish it was bigger or that the next Trance Classics is held at a bigger venue (ie Sullivan Room, Santos); just not Pacha (including Pachita, which, if I remember correctly, held a trance classics night last year, since Sullivan Room had not been available, as it was supposed to have been, originally), please.

It really was an amazing night. :)

Couldn't have asked for a better one really. Great music from all the DJs, great vibe, great turnout...lots of old school friends in the building. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out to be honest.

About the venue...I personally like National Underground a lot. Its a small venue, yeah. We've done 3 parties there so far though, and they've all been great. I think for the next one of these Classics Nights, maybe we will go bigger. One of the venues you mentioned maybe, or one comparable.

But all in all, it was a complete success. There are a lot of reviews / people talking about this on Facebook btw. http://www.facebook.com/events/285686744841015/

I have to agree with Zack that the venue was just fine in my opinion. The room really does give that "underground" feeling. It actually reminded me of Love's main room a bit, but a little smaller, thats all.

Onto the night itself. It's been quite a while since I literally did not want to miss one track played by going to the bathroom, outside, etc etc because I wouldv'e been dying to know what I was missing. This feeling was great to feel again, and I thank all the other DJs for that. Playing with you guys is just a pleasure, a no bull type of night with everyone on the same level. Thanks so much for making me a part of this one. And thanks again to everyone that came out!

Great night, nice turnout, a bit warm tho. Definitely need some more ventilation in there. Even a fan would have helped immensely. I spent a lot of time outside and I'm pretty sure I missed some great tracks.

Some tracks I remember hearing:

Monkey Forest
Let The Light Shine In
Traffic
Silence
Massive
As The Rush Comes

The party was excellent. As I said on my facebook, I have been wanting to play a party like this for the LONGEST time and was finally given the chance :)

Vibe and feel were ALL there. Crowd was all full of smiling friendly faces and the music was the in best part of the night! Frank Ryan and Zack are all class guys to work and talk with - really just had an all around great time with everything on this night even though I was a bit nervous about the turntables lol

It was kind of like a party from back in the day, regardless of it being a trance classics night, but the fact that people are still talking about it for days after. I remember going to parties in the past and just talking about how good they were days weeks and sometimes months later. And we still do talk about some of those parties till this day!

Thanks to everyone who came out! Hope all of you had a in blast out on the dancefloor! I really saw some people going absolutley crazy at certain points haha it was great to see! It really was a gig that I wished for and dreamt about numerous times in the past and it finally came true.

Amazing night!

This night was amazing. Prob one of my favorite classic nights so far. I always have a good time at national and I really dig the new dj booth. It opens up a lot of space and reminds me of club Love.
It was good catching up with everyone as always. There were so many bombs being thrown that I couldn't even keep up with the ID's since I was always a few songs behind. Like Ryan said, I didn't even want to leave for a break since I would miss something amazing. It was nice seeing you vinyl being used. I haven't seen wax spin in years. Tell the ppl at NU though to get some new speaker wires. Also, the back big speaker opposite of the bar seemed to be out the whole night.

BTW: Why do I always have bloody nipples every time I run into Aystar?:whip:
