She never said he played it there. She said she heard him play it at Beyond Wonderland (shot #2). So after that mess up she just tries to figure out what Wonderland she saw him at and is not talking about Concrete Angel anymore.

Then she says, "Wait, where did I see you? Escape from Wonderland, Escape from Wonderland, you were there." Markus then says, "No, no I wasn't" (shot for Markus!). And then she says she has a picture to prove he was there and then Markus takes over.

he def has been around for a while and made a name for himself
but he is starting to be hit or miss
i mean he talks about the past and what it once was, makes some good mix cd's and edits etc etc but at the same time he still supports the trouse bull and makes some pop stuff once in a while and now he talked about teaming up with ferry, i dunno his new album and sound is absolute dog i cant believe he sold out like that

i wish markus would just stay true to the genre and not let the new dj era of pop star and ego get to him

Are you sure you're thinking of the right artist?
Which song was "pop stuff"

This one maybe?

Or are you referring to Dakota???

ohhh, you're saying he teamed up with ferry who sold out big time.

yes i agree, even on the markus forums we're a bit skeptical since ferry's sound has gone downhill, but i guess we'll have to wait to hear before we judge.
Tosh
Ferry has always done whatever he wants and pushed the envelope.
He's always used a more pop sound!

Even if he is saying ferry is hit and miss or that he makes pop stuff now, he obviously hasn't paid attention to Ferry for very long...

2003:

Or maybe you remember his track from 2006 that was called "Junk"... I'd say that was a bit of a hip-hop/pop sound... Ferry has always been very diverse and odd...

WKND is spot on for his style imo: Diverse, fresh, different yet on par with what is popular.

Markus is the only trance DJ who can drop this in the middle of a trance set....and make it work

nah iam very familar with ferry and aware he has always made alot more vocals than other's, but his dj style now has changed with it also
years ago ferry would come on and be great from the start for a good hour or 2 it was non stop trance then he would get into his "producer mode" and just whore out his own tracks for a good hour then last hour he was back to trance
today even the tracks he supports arent trance, he's on that new trouse sound

as for markus here's his new song with arnej :nervous: :nervous:
i know its only one song but as i was saying before i hope this is just a phase for markus and overcomes this trouse bull and goes back to the roots

INXCESS
the interview was funny. Good job markus.. haha
trancension
Ferry's style has changed every CD, aka every 2 years. I have mad respect for him, and as far I am concerned, he can play whatever the he wants because he has always played whatever the he wants.
