Vegas?

I'm sure this isn't the first thread of its kind, but I'm gonna be lazy and not search for information....

So I'm gonna be in Vegas for five nights starting this Wednesday. I'll be there with a group of people for a bachelor party, but my nights will mainly be spent away from the group trying to find good music. I know from previous trips that this is rather difficult in Vegas, so I was wondering if anybody here had the scoop on some small events that might interest me. I'm fairly easy to please as I am really into most forms of techno, trance and house. I noticed that A-Trak and Aoki are in town, but they really aren't my cup of tea. I will definitely be going to Morillo at Marquee on Saturday, but the rest of my time is open. I'm hoping there's some stuff off the radar that will have good music, vibe, and people.

Thanks for any help........

He said he would be trying to find good music. Is that even possible in Vegas? Avicii does not count that is for sure

Yeah, Avicii is not really my sound, either, but I wouldn't be against checking out the party and club if tix weren't ove $80 with fees right now.
Michael Woods and Thomas Gold are around, too, but I'd prefer some kind of underground "locals" night with good people and quality music. Probably doesn't exist out there, huh?

On a sidenote, it's funny to see how excited my friends are for the trip and they are baffled by my indifference. I try to explain that my nightlife is based primarily around music preferences and they look at me like I just told them to define love. I'm not saying I won't have fun because I pride myself in being able to make the best out of situations, but I wouldn't even be going if it wasn't for a long time friend. Strip clubs, craps tables, golf excursions, and pretention just don't appeal to me. In order to have fun, I'm likely going to have to revert back to my collegiate state of mind, when top 40, hip-hop, and sluts meant a good night out. The trouble lies with that being a very long time ago, and recent attempts to recreate those types of evenings have produced lackluster results.
Oh well, I guess that's what alcohol is for.

Sorry 'bout the rant. Keep the suggestions coming... if there are any.

I find going on clubzone.com helped, go to events and the calendar and you should be able to see who is booked. Jackcolton.com for guestlist contacts.
