| I'm not that surprised.....the event happened 100 years ago and even the movie is 15 years ago. Most of those people were just little kids when the movie came out and I highly doubt they teach children about the titanic in school. |

| The only History class you have to take in high school is now supposed to start post-WWI. Many teachers do sneak it in, but as far as Titanic being the 'true end' of the 19th century, pinnacle of industrial hubris and all that, you would have to make a point of educating yourself. |
