This year the lineup seems to be slightly "not up to par" compared to previous years, but nonetheless promising to be solid and exciting!
I'm particularly excited for Boris Brejcha's set. He blew my brain out when he played in Toronto couple of weeks ago.
Also, A Balter is an amazing rising talent with proper techno/house music. And of course, for the prog house fans, Sun Control Species will deliver an unbelievable set!

BTW I'm going to suggest now that if we have a TOTA meet up, it better be done before we leave for the event with specific details as WIFI was not exactly reliable on the camp site from what I can recall.

Its a different vibe for sure. Very laissez faire- which is the festivals virtue.
The crowd it attracts is much more mature. You dont see any sketched out 16year olds that are 5 pills off the deep end. The people there can handle themselves.
Go in with an open mind and I imagine you'll have a good time.

I think I saw a total of 3 kids under 18 in 2010. It was during the day with the sun out. All of them had huge ear plugs over their ears and were playing around with their parents either by the beach or in the field. Before I went, I predicted the biggest turn off for me would be the amount of usage and the after effects but I didn't see one person out of control or 'beyond their limits'.
I may seem a bit over my head and biased here but the only bad thing I think you can encounter at Eclipse is the weather which is completely out of anyones hands. It's in such a moody area which can be the most beautiful sunny afternoon (anyone who was there for Sunday last year to see D-Nox play can testify to this) and in 10 minutes can seem like a tornado maybe headed.

Just bought my ticket! Looking forward to hitting it for the 1st time... it's been on my to-do list for quite a few yrs. It sounds like a serious contender to top my personal fave EDM outdoor event - WEMF '98 on Christian Island :)
