| What are you referring to, exactly? Nina plays mostly vinyl and some CDs (you knew this) and prides herself on this very fact (you knew this as well). But IMO it's no excuse for poor mixing. If you can't pull it off then don't try. People pay money to see you. It's not your bedroom. There is definitely a double standard with Nina. But anyway like I said it should be good entertainment regardless of what direction it goes. |

my .02: I'd take Nina trainwrecking a dance mania classic record ANY DAY over Dubfire's generic tech house that he plays in open airs while checking his e-mails. :D
and my wish is the same as last year: 9 hour set from arpiar ! hehe i know it won't happen but i'll see them in europe in the fall anyways ! |

adam, i know, i couldn't believe it either.
i did not see any cds or vinyls at the flying circus party during her set. i saw a laptop, a decent looking girl, and her eyes fixated on her screen.
matt, if you prefer listening to train wrecks over properly mixed generic tracks, that's your call ;)
me too, i can DJ with my laptop and have my boyfriend make my tracks and be a superstar :rolleyes:
like i said, hopefully she'll bring her A game for piknic. |

a lot of vinyl DJs sometimes when going overseas use a laptop. i remember efdemin did that when i saw him here. maybe thats why she sucked...maybe she wasn't used to using a laptop? idk i just like how she plays a lot of weird old stuff mixed with new stuff...not that shes my favorite dj or anything.
and yea, personally, i would rather see some character from a DJ, a DJ who takes risks and plays interesting music rather then a DJ who just stands there while touching a lot of buttons and letting the computer do the mix for him.
