I've heard your mixing and your production skills are atrocious. Maybe you present an incomplete picture, on-line, but I have a hard time accepting that you've been resident DJ for five years when you have problems beat-matching in a recorded session. If you're doing this professionally, as your advice seems to indicate that you are, standards for quality have plummeted. |

I wouldn't hand out demo's quite yet Ryan unless you are talking about DJ mixes and not productions.
I do think you are being hypocritical. You start quite a few threads, sometimes multiple for one track, so your reaction is unfair. |

| If you whore yourself out enough it's not exactly hard to become a resident at your local club for terrible music. People here don't respect you because you try way too hard with your terrible productions and terrible taste in music. |

From 2001-2003 I was in the studio learning to dj on a Pioneer DJM-600 and Technic 1200's. Helped promote and throw parties @ The Lux, AfterHours and Sterlins. Resident DJ @ The Lux with gigs @ AfterHours and House Parties
2003 - 2004 Resident DJ at Element in Atlanta, GA. (Other residents would include Darcy, Kevin D. Marc Bell aka DJ43 and others.
2004 - 2005 Resident DJ at Eclipse
2005 - 2007 Resident DJ at Bourbon St. Station Promoter for Mode Entertainment affiliated Opened up for Gabriel & Dresden
2007 - 2009 Resident DJ at The Globe and Tera Nova. Affiiliated w/ TakeOver and Empire Entertainment. Responsible for promotions and bookings inside the Rum Jungle. Opened up for Lee Coombs, General Midi, Richard Humpty Vision and a few others. Also had gigs at Ocean Club, Endo Exo, Filter, and Coffee Grinder.
2010 - Current Mark/Filter Appearance and the Soundtable Appearance (Soundtable is #37 in Bar and Magazines Top Bars in the Country.
Not activley pursuing gigs, concentrating on studio time and dancing. |
I (along with many DJ's on TA) can easily top trump that music 'career', but we don't go around calling ourselves 'pro DJs'.
