if i the minds of men can be tricked, and as a result sexually aroused, by colored pixels on a screen simulating the act of copulation, why can't the thiests be subject to such evolutionary trickery and believe fanciful things about higher powers.

if anything, a belief in god, in and of itself, demonstrates an evolutionary quirk. does this make sense?:wtf:

Don't really care for his manners in which he tries to spread atheism. hitchens was much more tactful speaking from a position of logic without having to insult others for what he clearly sees as a silly concept. But still, his earlier books were great. I suppose how he tries to convince is why is unnecessary. Make your argument, and if it is compelling, you don't need to try and convince.

I believe some of this to be true but in the end he was just another man.

Dawkins was always a mediocre scientist who has become famous for his ability to explain scientific ideas to lay people and his intellectual abilities of applying scientific principles to philosophical issues of the time.

There isn't much above mediocre when still talking about Religion, is there? Honestly, you are on one side of the fence or the other or in the middle or possibly climbing the fence thinking that your concepts are different.
