It is totally not your fault that a mother decides to lift up her heels against her child. We were all handpicked by God before we were born, and that's why we're all special in his eyes.
I'm not saying we need to have a perfect track record when it comes to respecting a girl. That's not what God expects, but we can all strive to exercise purity and respect for his daughters.
