I will be in Tampa for the horse races and was hoping there would be a show in the area for Cinco de Mayo.

Power cut out on Markus 3 times last April 2011 at his set at the Amp. It was truly embarrassing for the venue. And not only that, but the sound quality was absolutely terrible. I made the comment on that event thread that it was like seeing a "show" at a high school auditorium. Literally, that's how unprofessional and amateur it was. Add in the rotating dance floor...lol.
Been to shows at the Amp since then and it has been much better, but the power issue has reared its head at least once since then too.
Thought about going to this, but I'm gonna save my money for Loco Dice on the 19th. That's gonna be a show. I like Markus but I'll wait till he does another marathon at Space. If he doesn't have enough time to get techy, why bother? |
