review:
got there around 1 to a complete overpacked club, was crazyyy packed, like armin packed...they wouldnt let you down on the mainfloor at certain parts of the night
opening dj was pretty good but i dont really think he knows the meaning of an "opener" guy was very hard, he slowed it down at the end a lil but then picked it right back up
only track id i got from him was
puripa-raw orbit
dt came on at around 3 and from 3-6 he was belting out, hard tech def a great 3 hours of music. after that he was up and down then he was basically hit or miss till about 9am then he brought it back up with some driving tech house had the crowd goin ape
last hour was a complete show filled with "antics" lol i dont have a video of them but the mainfloor was histerical with a friendly circle and dt dropping some old school acid house
overall good night out minus it being overpacked and a few useless gweedo circles, crowd was really good suprisingly
as for his "resignment" he was talking about it here and there threw out the night and at the end he said something like he has some personal stuff to take care of hes been djing for 35 years and needs a lil break, he get's offers all the time to spin all over the world but turns down alot cause most of them are 2-3 hour set's and he is not that type of dj, so when he comes back he wants to focus more on putting some new songs out as well as not traveling as much, mainly staying local but more underground (whatever that means) and in north america for the most part
funny part of the night he made a fake phone conversation where it sounds like 2 kids talking about rumors about him
one of them went like "did you hear danny will be on this season of jersey shore, he's replaceing pauly d while he tours with britney spears" lol guys a nutjob

"Hi, I'm going to make a big deal of 'resigning' and then charge a load of money because stupid people think I'm done...and then I'll do 50 gigs in 2013...to pay for all my botox and murse bags so that I look like Jack Nicholson from Batman."

I got there around 6AM, stayed until 10 and had a blast. Thanks to all the TAs for the shenanigans! Andrew's dance moves and Bobby's moustache was worth the trip coming out for this one ;-)

I had a great time last night. Danny played a good set, housy, techy, a bit of jungle. Met a few new TAs ..KingChink, Rory James, RJ, and partied with the usual suspects (tom/ bobby/ aystar)
That tranny who was lip sinking in the dj booth spooked the out of me :eek:

missed the meetup! complete fail on my part. my NYC friends were arriving in the club just at time of the meetup. sucks i missed out on meeting you and other TA's.
that was a party for the books tho! aside from what u said as the club was disgustingly packed, i had no idea what i was in for during a DT set!!! some of the best music ive ever heard! as u said also, those first 3 hours were nothing but relentless in your face techno bombs. had the time of my life for my first DT experience.

You are probably referring to Anthony Lamont, he is a "scene staple", especially at the Dance.Here.Now parties. Unfortunately he never received the memo that parties in this day and age don't require MC's to pump up the crowd anymore.
