So, I'm going to have an Aussie roommate for a month.

My roommate is subleasing his room for a month while he goes away for business. I guess some dude from Australia found his ad on craigslist and is coming here to do research.
He's on the plane, right now.
Being as there are a few Aussies on here, how can I make this guy's stay as pleasant and welcoming as possible. What should I expect from my new guest? |

Being Australian, chances are your roomie will be pretty laid back. I wouldn't worry to much. If you want to hospitable, maybe show him around a bit. I seem to remember that you don't drink, so I guess taking him to bars or whatever won't really be your thing. |

If he's down for it I'll be more than happy to have beer(s) with him.
I'm curious about what kind of research he's here for. I think that will determine how "laid back" he is.
He better take a hit if I pass him the joint. |
