I am a total New York noob. I'm coming to visit a friend this week! Will this sell out?! I am definitely going! What are the club hours anyway? A lot of clubs close at 2 in Los Angeles with the exception of Avalon which stays open until 7am. I'm so excited!

Not really in danger of it selling out but Hernan is definitely not one to be missed! Pacha usually closes at 4am sharp on Thursdays with the headliner coming on around 1am. They also usually have guestlist specials to get in cheaper before midnight - usually when they announce the opener. Will be there for sure as well btw

Can someone point me to a good Hernan mix? I suppose it's time to get on this bandwagon, I hear a lot about him.

I know it's older but this is the one that made me a big fan of his -
I'm really into his Resident radioshow at the moment - while it may showcase a more deeper, lighter side of his music, the track selection is impeccable and his mixing is unbelievably smooth. Definitely worth a listen.
Here's Resident 49, one of my recent favorites.. deep and psychedelic.
Also here's Hernan with Guy J at the Cameo for the Bedrock party in March, playing a new Guy J track :eyespop:

Resident indeed. the best adjective to describe his show is Epic. Always, Always idyllic.
I recommend his guest mix for Henry Saiz's podcast The Labyrinth. He plays some of the tracks from his Renaissance parallel compilation, the mixing is just beautiful.

A current radio show set. So good!
P.S. I'm going to be staying in Brooklyn in the Hasidic community. Does anyone know the best/cheapest safe way to get to Pacha from there? I see it's approx 20~ miles away. I don't know my way around!
