Not really.

Here is another example of the type of d'n'b I'm looking for...

I really can't find anything in common between the two tracks you posted, at all. I think you need to be more specific.

Yeah the only thing I got out of that was that he's looking for something within the atmospheric dnb spectrum. Doesn't narrow it down much, but I'll suggest some tracks anyways.

Ian
this might be something you'd like

forget the camo & krooked name on that, it hasn't got the gimmicky annoyance that most of their things do, it's been nicely remixed out of it.

Zharen & Ian, thank you both. This is the type of d'n'b I'm looking for.
Eurofix, I'm really new to the genre as well and so far have been really impressed by its potential.

So if you know any more of these, post them...I'm checking them all out and pick the best of them. Just starting to build my library of d'n'b...:)

Oh man, where to start? Drum 'n bass is the ing business. I've been listening to it heavily for two or three years now, and it still makes me feel like a 15 year old all over again; that excited rush of discovering new sounds for the first time that most of us have lost long ago. There are so many different strands, strains and ideas to uncover. Drum 'n bass makes trance look like a silly little kid's game.

But for now, let's keep it simple. Check out a guy called Lm1 and his label Offworld Recordings:

I read your blog today and I also remember hearing that Altair track in that thread about Zabiela's essential mix, haha. The bit about us people being junkies made me smile because it's so damn true :p

And no offence to the OP, but with a simple search for 'drum & bass' you could have found a bunch of threads on this topic, such as this, this and this as well as about a billion mixes.
