Beatport, Trackitdown and Itunes, 14 Cd releases and 2 digital EP’s and a busy year preparing Wildthings Records arrived in 2012 equipped with a new website, http://www.wildthingsrecords.co.uk ,
and a feast of album releases for the Psychedelic Trance music world.
Their drive and continual audio dedication for the scene has gained them much acclaim and their followers can expect them to continue bringing about some of the most exciting artists and cutting edge tun-age to their genre stages.
This year’s audio feast starts off with a 3 album release schedule.
The first release is by the label founder and manager.
Beardy Weardy’s debut album is “Squelch Monster”.
The newest producer to the Wildthings audio arsenal, Beardy has created a journey of tracks influenced through his 15 years of Dj’ing within the London underground scene.
In true Wildthings fashion he experiments with different styles of groove and textures, all saturated with plug in madness and a positive head states. His album is a first of many as he continues his thirst for audio research and development.
The Second Album coming is the newest artist member to the label but one of the most experience producers “Southwild”.
His debut solo album “Synthologie” shows the years of knowledge he gained though his work in the dynamic duo Rastaliens, which has electrified the scene for over 10 years, This album though puts a solid stamp on what he wants to produce as a solo artist and bring to the dance music world.
There is no denying his class of production and his audio manipulations are masterpieces of “having it” dance floor thumpers. Every track is truly psychedelic in its own right.
Thirdly before the summer ends, comes the eagerly awaited and hyped 3rd album of the ever increasingly popular E.V.P. One of the founder members of the Wildthings organisation, and with a solid back catalogue of music, this latest album titled “Neuroplasticity“ dictates the style he has created for himself and the scene.
He is a true wizard in creating Synthetic audio production and 3d sound montages and together with his foot to floor kick and bass and percussive rhythms he guarantees this next album will be his best so far.
The label is moving towards a digital compilation release schedule by Dj Beardy with the first being ready for the summer months of 2012. The compilations will showcase tracks from the Wildthings family as well as bringing together artistic friends from the scene who compliment the Wildthings sound with their music.
Wildthings are also releasing their first Digital downbeat album by “Avaris”, a side project from their Greek psychedelic artist Archaic. This is a start of a series of downbeat projects for digital release though the label expected for release during the summer months.
Wildthings’ Artists are being booked for most of the major festivals within the circuit such as Boom, Ozora, Universo Parallelo, and The Glade festival , and so it looks like it’s going to be another year where people can enjoy the fruits of their labour all over the world.
The listeners can soon expect to receive bi monthly releases of digital EP’s as the label moves deeper into the world of digital downloads. |
