but I'm now one of those loser guys with a blog. But you wont find me posting any emotional rants on there. Just cool media I come by on the internet. From photos to commercials to music to cool clothes .

Couldn't you just share these on your FB ? For me personally, I don't think there's much of a need for blogs as much in this day in age... unless it's something meaningful and specific. I think a blog with all your best quotes would be more appealing! |

| Are you in a creative field? Because its fairly essential for documentation and design processes. It's almost treated as a digital sketch/notepad. If not, then yes its probably pointless. |

Well, FB's terms of service are a bit sketchy, with them trying to lay claim to your photos, anything else you post.
That's why, if I post a photo on FB, I actually post it somewhere else, and link to it. |

this blog is basically to help me grow my e-penis.
in actuality I already get a lot of feedback on links i post etc. I tend to have a good eye for media so I just decided to share everything on tumblr that I comeby on my day to day random sweep of the internet.
just trying to keep the blog to pictures, cool videos, cool new music and fashion. if you like it, follow it, if you find anything you think was cool then it basically got the job done.
is it pointless? ya probably but theres tons of pointless blogs I follow just because they're cool places to find whats happening in music with bands and groups that will put out great but will never reach commercial success etc. takes me off the beaten path a bit and my blog allows me to organize it in one place and allows me to share it with others. |

I use blogs for all sorts of media searches. I follow scott vener who does all the music selection for HBO's Entourage and how to make it in america. Tons of small bands and emerging new artists send him music daily and he puts up the coolest ones he likes on his blog. I trust his taste in music so I'm always on there listening to new tracks and finding new music. When it comes to commercials I follo This girl that works for fox media, she is always surfing the internet for video media and posts stuff she finds new and exciting. it beats waiting for some bull video to go viral. :P
I got into it and have been sharing whatever I find interesting and fun I think friends would enjoy. it only takes a few minutes out of my day at work. |
