Been back in montreal for a few weeks and these demonstrations are nonsense. I grew in up on Montreal Quebec and would say i'm pretty damn liberal but considering how much the government actually subsidizes the education, and the fact that so many of these Che Commie heads don't actually finish or take way more time than it should, i think it is just asinine. Things cost more. You want good schools with good teachers, some of the costs should be paid by those that benifit.
Education is a selfish pursuit in that you do it to better yourself. How these people seem to think they have earned the right is takes some serious cognitive dissonance. If you don't think spending what will still amount to the lowest tuition in NA is worth while, don't go to school. It isn't a right, it is a privilege. As long as it stays at a rate that income disparity does not preclude certain people from attending, which is not the case in any province let alone Quebec, why the are they complaining. Some places cost 500$ for a semester.
I honestly would love to beat some of these lazy ing idiots with a club. I ing hate pseudo hippies that don't seem to understand the concept of paying for you use. The increases are so small, anyone in any other province would just shake their head and wonder why they have to subsidize Quebec because half the population thinks communism would work if done right. |

| new facebook profile pic ? You kinda try a little too hard with the whole i'm just too ing minimal. Do you listen to like NIN , have an aversion to anything that might be considered cool because your little scene manual clearly states that anything cool is not cool which is cool. |

Yeah! Soon they'll want to use roads and not pay for them again! What a stupid sense of self-entitlement these jerks have! |

Jay should give us some update on this . Wait, he just shat. NVM...
Seriously, Montreal has been over run with hipsters and non Quebequer students protesting. Although this does not excuse south american styled police brutality. |

| i'm only here for a few more weeks and you can't volunteer to be part of the riot squad.. Apparently they are trained. I would find the kid with the tightest jeans and just gas him until he admits skinny jeans are not or will ever be cool, Francofolie sucks and the members of ACDC , in their current state of decomposition could up any synth pop hipster bull the kids listen to these days. And anyone with a Vendetta mask gets a beanbag shot at their junk until he is unconscious + 30 seconds. |

| see the problem with people that think education is a right, is that you can educate yourself all you want. It is called a library. You want help learning, paying doesn't seem so ing unreasonable,. Right now , school is actually too cheap in Quebec that nobody actually takes it seriously. And they just want to raise tuition to cover the costs of paying teachers. , universities in montreal should require you to take economics your first semester. inflation is not really a hard concept to understand, Nobody bitches about chocolate bars getting more expensive, rent , just about everything, But tuition ? god forbid you have to pay a little more to cover the small cost you actually pay for the services you use. The sad part is that so many of these ing hipster Che tshirt wearing heads is that they live in like westmount and the increase would not change a ing thing. But that is what people in montreal do, they whine and complain no matter what. |
