would be funny to get a few people in on it. What do you need to do this kind of stuff ? Like do you need to get a playstation ? or a pc ? I was thinking i could route the mic thru a bunch of fx to give me like a really ed up pervy sound.

I've got XBox and the mic-headset came with it. The plug is ultra small - not even 16th of an inch - looks more like a 32nd. Might be able to patch it up with a trip to Radio Shack and some wire-strippers. There's pretty much game servers for all platforms - they're just platform specific. You can't play XBox on a PC server, for instance.

so i buy an xbox , and then i pay like a monthly fee and ? Can you like find people you know on it ? and like collude. Just want something that is hassle free that is popular and i can around and say funny .

Pretty much. Buy the XBox. Buy the games you want to play, on-line. You can get a subscription card at Wal*Mart with your XBox. Get a wireless adapter if you're using a wireless router - otherwise, it's got an ethernet port. Don't go cheap on it. They've got some low-end versions that are as far as HD space. Ours has 80GB and we're fine. You'll need it because games will update their software, periodically.
Then, if you know the gamertag of the people you want to link up with, you can friend them and BAM! You're in business.
EDIT: And they should have everything (including wireless adapters) you need to get on-line where they sell the consoles.
