Can you bring a modern classic back to life?

so you have to buy your ty release in order to spend your own time making a track that if you win, gets signed to your label making you more money ? That is a ing incentive if i've ever ing heard one. Seriously what the is with you labels. Do you not have enough capital to actually reward people while you profit from the free marketing. Nothing says small time like a what i can only imagine is a bunch of idiots with about 300 $ in capital trying to drum up some interest.

read a book on marketing then off, sorry off, then read a book on marketing. scratch that , just off.

Looney, a label is such a broad thing these days. It is and its not what it used to be obviously. Some people are happy doing this you know? No point of ting down their throats, if the producer is serious enough he wouldn't do this anyway(its way more difficult these days to be a serious producer). Seems like producers are opening labels to "up" their street-cred, something to put on their bio. It IS a travesty, but its more of an evolutionary branch, thats pretty much negative(positive to some, I guess, who are we to judge).

Someone wants to shoot the and win this, its not worth it, and it wont get you anywhere, but some just dont care about that these days.
