I normally don't reply to theese threads as its just like trying to put out a fire with gasoline but, what the hell.
You seem to have a big problem with showing everyone who you are and what kind of producers you like, you don't seem to be able to address your brain that people actually like this "poser".
I guess you haven't heard his sets from 98-99 ?
He does NOT lack technical skill, by the way, can you please give us the link where YOUR Radio 1 EMs are listed so we can listen to them and hear how good YOUR technical skill is compared to Oakey ?
Oh, you haven't done any Essential Mixes.
I don't know why you hang out with 14 year old "ravers" (have do hang out with them, otherwise you wouldnt know where they were hanging out) but if you dont like them, find new friends, but not in this way, you are only gaining enemies here.

| hahahaha ...go have a Oakenfold alliance i could care less ...i just think the man cant mix worth ...for being a dj 20 odd years he should have way better skills... im sorry oakenfold alliance is like someone starting a Alice Deejay alliance.... i didnt think people were so in luv with this guy ..sorry mates lol didnt think people thought he was any good LOL..... and this is a open post and please i just cant stand oakenfold and i have great reason why ...hes a dick,he thinks hes the best dj to walk on earth, he has no technical skill, and he in plays great prog tracks with epic tracks...thats a SIN in its SELF!!!!.. i focus on technically skilled djs ..like anthony pappa (technically flawless in every aspect of mixing), Sander, Sasha,Digweed...these guys make oakenfold look like the infant he really is... Oakenfold couldnt even put a set together and mix right even with protools ... the reason why people consider him as top dj cuz hes the most popular but that doesnt mean crap about skills... oakenfold ill do say that he has great marketing for him self ..he knows how to sell his stuff. but overall oakenfold for djing as long as he has his skill level is utter sorry folks just my opinion and people who focus on technical skill when mixing will see what im talking about if you listen to his sets.... but then again most people could care a rats ass about technical skill as long as he plays those trendy tracks that they want to hear. Essential mix being able to dj one of those dont mean all i can say dave pearce did one and he must be the worst dj on the face of this earth ...being a popular dj doesnt make u a good dj..some of the best djs arnt popular...to become a popular dj u would have to be doing it for a long time to get recognition.. or play commerical stuff that most of the electronic music listeres population know.. i never said i didnt like the post ...and u mayb created this thread but its not your thread no matter what i can say what ever i feel like if i think oakenfold sucks then so be it ... First, before I begin, could you please learn to divide your sentances
in a somewhat good order so one actually could care to read what
you write ?
Oakey doesn't have any mixing skills.. okay, well, I won't start
defending him before you hand me some good proof.
With that I mean a listing of a set and in the exact second where
he s up and not just "oh gee, that beat is totally off" because
lets face it, even your precious Mr Pappa makes mistakes with ONE
beat.
So, hand me a good long list on sets with the second that the up
begins and the second that it ends, in a ordered fashion so I will
bother to read it.

I have been listening to his sets for a good 2-3 years now and I
can't really complain, sure he s up a time or two but who doesnt ?

Oakenfold has put alot of good sets together and his sets from
1999 is considered to be somewhat of the best livegigs there is.
In case you fell behind in trying to mix in Traktor to compete.

Ahem, beeing on the Essential Mix is a great honour.
Just because Dave Pearce didnt do a good mix doesnt mean that
Oakenfold or every other DJ that has and will perform on the EM
isnt good, but I hope you already know that.
If you don't, well then we can pretty much say goodbye to evolution,
if we are suppose to look on things as you do.

You are the guy that began your first post in this thread saying
that we had an IQ lower then the amount of replies in this post.
If you don't see the relevance in your reply about our IQ, then I
cannot possibly understand how your "brain" can begin to grasp that
someone wrote something evil about your mother.

| , i could top myself. Oakenfold is playing 10 minutes from my house on friday.....I already bought tickets for Tiesto 6 hour solo though. I would rather see Tiesto but i am gutted i will miss Oakie as he will never be there again for atleast another year :whip: |
