buzz is the best club i have ever been to. good sound, very large (almost too big for me), gread crowd and vibe, and good music. you know i prefer breaks and dnb and it is there every week. apparently trance is scare there.

this is why i don't like glow:
concrete floors, bad sound, no vibe. i'm not saying i didn't like the ppl when i was there but i was with you guys so that doesn't count for glow. glow does not have the personality that buzz has.

They really have a jungle room. I havn't heard it in a club since tunnels jungle room in 97-98. I have to agree with you on the problem with the concrete floors.Thats pretty getto for any club.

buzz is tight as ...i love the fact u can sit down and chill. but no one beats Glows energy!!!! actually the only energy the club feels its US ta's going nuts lol. buzz is like a damn warehouse rave. they got couple of rooms. the dnb rooom. main room and the pattio. all the roooms are bigger then glow. And they get alot more people. the best part of buzz and glow: THEY GOT ING A/C!

you guys in nyc...need 2 get some ing a/c.

i've been going to buzz for 3yrs now. sound system is eaw, kickass bass, clear highs, almost on-par with phazon from twilo IMO. been voted #1 club in the east coast once or twice, i think. crowd is very relaxed, more of a 'rave' atmosphere than glow, no dress code (a BIG plus vs glow!), music is mixed: not too much trance which is why some ppl here think tiesto shouldn't be spinning there, but lots of variety. they pretty much have all types of electronic dance spinning in the main room on any given friday. diff rooms for diff types of music. front room is d&b/breaks, outside patio is a bit mellow, sometimes trancy. bouncers are cool, they search pretty thoroughly when u walk in but aren't too pushy/overbearing once u get in. some search all into your shoes and pockets, some just give u a good patdown. can't take gum in, btw. no prob chewing gum if u'r inside;), but they'll confiscate it if u got it in your pocket while in line. definitely recommend it to anyone that's in the area.

close? HA! they advertise 6am, but on special occasions they've been known to stay open past 7, close to 8am.. i.e. last time sasha was there, climax was at 630-7am.

true true, and don't forget twilo used stay open til 10am on pvd nites. but then, all of dc is dead by 3am, and nyc never shuts down. so u can't really compare the two cities in that aspect. :)
