Surely almost every one of you has had at least a handful of experiences which which most would find difficult to believe. Sometimes, it's the seemingly unbelievable events we witness or experience which let us know that there may be more to the world than meets the eye.

Share some of your most unbelievable true stories, here.

Here's one of mine
In high school I experienced the phenomena of going to sleep, one night, and finding myself in a lucid dream. The dream itself was an adventure of sorts, and involved exploring some fictional terrain in typically impossible ways. It included a casual dive into a river of molten lava, for example. One of the characters in the dream was one of my best friends since preschool, who accompanied me throughout the journey, but something was peculiar about this particular dream. For some reason, I felt as if my friend were actually there with me, in the dream. I didn't bother trying to investigate this inclination, while dreaming, but the next day I decided to give my buddy a call and ask about it. This isn't something I'd usually do, but I simply had an inclination to, at some point during the day. Sure enough, my friend was able to tell me, in uncanny detail, many of the places we'd ventured to and things we'd done in what I thought was my dream. :eyespop: . As well, my own recollections of the dream encompassed accurate descriptions of events which transpired in a dream my buddy had in the same night (i.e. I was able to tell him what he did in his own dream, since I had been in it with him). Freaked us both out :nervous: ...

COR Version: it's apparently possible to share dreams, inception style.

What are some of the CORs unbelievable experiences?

did you have ketamine by any chance?
me and a friend did ket after gatecrasher about 10 years ago on new years day.. we had a fat line each, and watched enter the dragon on dvd.
consequently we both fell into a k-hole.. i have seen enter the dragon before, but friend had not.. in my k-hole i thought that both mine and my friends thoughts were both being transmitted to each other, and the result was being projected no screen. after we both came out of our k-hole, i said to my mate... "mate ..." he says "i know" .. then he goes on to explain that he had experienced or thought the exact same thing that i did

edit: i DO beleieve that ketamine does has some sort of telepathetic properties.. thats not the first time something like this has happened. ive had a couple of experiences where i have 'connected' with someone else while in a k-hole

:wtf: So I'm not the only one... I hadn't begun experimenting with substances, besides alcohol once or twice, until well after I'd graduated from high school, so no. We were both sober, and at opposite ends of the city when our shared dream took place. I don't think we'd even spoken that day.
Anxieties

There's no telepathy going on here. You both had the same stimuli, and the same batch of Ketamine. This could lead to having similar experiences, and once someone describes what happened to them, everyone else believes they had an identical experience. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folie_%C3%A0_deux

The only other other one I've got is not necessarily a ghost story, but I think most would probably label it as such.

I was in Georgia, visiting my father during the summer of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, and wasabout 13 or 14 at the time. What had been an especially fun visit became a bit dull after the terrorist bombing at the Olympic Village, and I found myself spending a lot of time stuck at home. One night during my stay, my dad asked to be left alone at home briefly so that he could meditate (as he's a bit of a Zen hippie theologian), so at close to midnight, my aunt who'd been visiting at the time, decided to take my two younger brothers and I to a local 24-hour supermarket to kill some time.

I was the last one to leave the house, and as I approached my aunt's car which was parked halfway down the driveway, with one of my brothers already inside, we all witnessed one of the most bizarre occurrences. My aunt and other brother were still outside of the car adjusting some items in the trunk or something, as I drew near, but as I motioned to get into the car I noticed a man in the distance who emerged from the woods from our neighbor's property, and was making his way toward our front lawn. We all immediately froze, and stoodvin silent observation, as this had been the first time someone whom we felt was trespassing actually set foot on the property. It was a very dark skinned, fairly well built black man in his early 30's in shorts and a sleeveless undershirt, with about shoulder lengthed dreadlocks, which was fine. What was troublesome was his mannerisms... He made his way up our front lawn very slowly, taking heavy steps as a traditional zombie might. He had a vacant look in his eyes as if he were in a trance, and although he was walking virtually parallel to us as we watched, he never acknowledged our presence. Instead he just slowly made his way up the lawn and toward the front door of the house. I expect that my aunt had been bracing herself to go and retrieve one of her pistols to shoot this guy, if necessary, but she never got that chance. The seemingly undead man made it quite close to the front door of the house, but when he was about 3 yards away, he simply disappeared... in front of all of us. :nervous::nervous::nervous: . No special effects or anything. He disappeared as abruptly as images in a movie jump when a film reel skips or is cut. When it happened, my aunt softly exclaimed, "Oooh ." and we all got in the car immediately, and drove off, only to share our experience with my dad when we returned later on. I find it important to note here that my "aunt" was not actually a blood relative, but a close friend of the family whom I consider as an aunt. No clue what kinds of explanations there are for phenomena like this, but it's the only one I've experienced like it, with so many witnesses. No clue who or what that could have been, but aside from alivemannerisms he looked perfectly tangible, and alive.:sadgreen:
