And I'm pretty sure the set times meetups still happen at big events occasionally. I haven't been to a meetup out here like that in a while, but I've met people by posting in a thread and then pming, exchanging numbers, meeting up.
This BBQ will just be a great way for ppl to connect, newer members (like the 2 who posted expressing interest) to meet some of us old timers (no i'm not an old timer but one day i will be!!!), and ppl on the site who tend to frequent different parties to kick it (since, more than anything now, it's a bunch of ppl on here that may or may not like trance, but ultimately like each other). |

Ya you just need a firm location. Met TAs at Circus years ago bc we would meet by some clown thing. Or when I was on the Groovanuats forum in DC we would meet by the right side bar in the front etc... |

Yup... I remember when we used to meet up under the escalators at the Sports Arena. Or when we all met up at Metreon for the first Love Parade in San Francisco. I think I have a picture from that meet up. |

right that is key to exchange info, worse case you text location and viola...but i think people on here seriously think "im the guy with the goatee" is enough to be found. shoot oftentimes i cant find my friends at avalon bc its so friggin packed, how am i going to locate a strangef "21 year old female-female(not shemale) who has blonde hair and blue eyes" ok maybe at avalon that isnt so difficult. |
