Mixmeister help request

I just got a copy of mixmeister. Now... how the hell do I make mixes with it?

I've been through the "BPM all tracks" thing it does. When I tried to put a mix together it sounded really e.
The beats weren't matching up at all but I made sure that they're at the same bpm and even zoomed in so that at least the first beat of of the second song matches up with a beat from the first. Still no good.
I'm sure there's a mixmeister-meister here somewhere... plz help!!!

...first suggestion regarding Mixmeister - turn off ALL the automatic crap.

If you have any interest in mixing at all, I would suggest doing your mix by hand, setting BPMs, lining up bass, etc. I've done 11 full mixes now with Mixmeister, and you can get some pretty good results if you spend time with the program. Have yet to find another program that's a fraction as intuitive as Mixmeister.

That said, it should also probably be viewed as a first step towards other types of mixing. I'm personally thinking of playing around with real-time mixing software, though I haven't really found one yet that I actually like.

I would love to screw around with turntables, but unfortunately I need to put that money into other important things, like college/university tuition. =P
