The set in September wasn't as memorable (the one he released) in my opinion. He still had some great elements to it, but being on the dance floor when he was playing, he just didn't have a good flow. When I listen to it now, I still feel the same way. It by far is not terrible - it just was not what I expected based on his June performance. June I left because it was way too hot in the club - September I just left as I'd had enough. He was dropping monsters around 6-630 or so, but by then, I had given up. I always say, for me, a phenomenal Digweed set needs patience from the listener; but it also needs flow, consistancy, and a few dabbles with surprise - I didn't feel that in September.
June @ Circus (and here in Toronto from what friend's have said) was basically a "pick up and thrown onto another planet" set.
I am hoping for this tomorrow night. |

Gah..
still a big maybe...Busy sunday with mothers day at two homes.
also moving all day saturday so we may just come just to de-stress with some good tunage. |

OMG CANNOT WAIT... so close.
Going in with a birthday party group. Will be epic times. Really hope the dance floor isn't super packed... gonna rage if I see too much neon tonight. |
