Come dressed as your favorite superhero and get ready for the weekend’s number one destination for electronic dance music lovers!
Known for blasting bassbins with blockbuster beats and making heads spin with hybrid house styles, Laidback Luke’s Super You&Me events have taken the world by storm from Miami to Ibiza. Known for its progressive line ups, this edition of Super You&Me at Governors Island brings dubstep heavyweight Datsik, head bangin’ house producer Tommy Trash, high energy electro house duo PeaceTreaty, and Mad Decent darling Oliver Twizt. And it’s the perfect opportunity to show who your favorite superhero is: make sure you dress-up as your favorite and most aspired superhero and join Laidback Luke for this unique heroic occasion. Nothing is too crazy and (almost) anything goes!
In celebration of Super You&Me, Laidback Luke, together with the legendary Stan Lee and Todd McFarlane, are inviting designers to submit their finest Superhero costume design. The winner will have their design produced and worn by Laidback Luke at Super You&Me on Governors Island, and will be invited to attend to see their Superhero costume firsthand. Travel and two nights' accommodation for the winner plus guest will be provided, along with exclusive signed merchandise. Enter at www.talenthouse.com!
The 18+ event will take place from 4 p.m. to midnight at Governors Beach Club, which encompasses a 4-story tent with open walls, an open air beach, VIP areas, a state of the art sound and light system, over 100 feet of bar space, and spectacular views of New York City.
