The Economist has been doing it for ages, and they aren't exactly "amateurs" or anything... I'm no expert but it does seem to be a reliable indicator of how cheap/expensive a country is.

It's a totally viable representation..... but then again, my associates aren't exactly experts in macroeconomics.

Subscriptions are really cheap at the moment too, if anyones interested in a good regular read :gsmile:

True. I get most of my news either from the Economist or from the Guardian, and they cover events from my own country way better than most journalists based here :p
