I've been in scenarios where its the first slot and the dance floor is empty, and I've been in scenarios where everyone is charged and ready to get down to some music... but never at the same time.

Actually I'll take that back, the last rave-ish gig I played was kinda like that... everyone came from a big "Dayglow" event to the afterparty and I was the first person playing. Everyone was pretty charged up as soon as I started playing. Pretty rare scenario, though :)
