| Saw them last year at Mansion and at Ultra. They give a good performance and play a decent amount of trance, which is not easy to find now a days. |

You didn't miss anything. It was a typical Cosmic Gate set, nothing special...... If anything they toned it down a bit for the Miami crowd. Lots of chunky beats & electro and less trancey for sure. The set never really picked up like I had hoped it would so we ended up bouncing early. They came on at about 1:30 and we left by 3:00 and they were still playing. All in all it was an okay night but if there was a better alternative I definitely would have been there....... |

Bottom line is we need a Markus sighting ASAP in Miami. If Space does not bring him back soon they are so clueless they do not deserve him. As far as trance DJs are concerned, right now he is hands down the best and only DJ pushing boundaries in a good direction. Working in dark progressive and tech into his trance sets works. Other trance DJs need to take notes when he plays.
I'm all for diversity and variety, but this electro-sounding crap that C-gate, Corsten, Emery and the rest of them are playing needs to go IMO. If I wanted to hear noise like that I'd go see Laidback Puke, Steve Crackoki or Afrocrack ... |

First off Markus is not going to play @ Space no more, no other comments necessary. He is not the only "trance" dj pushing boundaries pfft, please. |

I'd be interested in knowing the names of trance DJs that play in Florida that are pushing boundaries.
Cuz I haven't seen or heard of any in a long time.
I know such DJs exist, but only play in Florida during WMC. |
