I gotta give it to the Kings, they played extremely well and all bought into the system evenly. 16-2 record is just unbelievable in this era of hockey.
Still happy for the devils but hopefully they will learn from this. Unfortunately, their team will not look the same any more. Parise will most likely go because of Brodeur. Luongo may have a slot if Brodeur retires.
Devils cant get a clear shot on net on Quick for some reason, always gets blocked or screen by someone else. Yet the whole top of the net is exposed because quick is always down.
It was good while it lasted, just couldn't come to watching a full game this series.
Side note:
BTW hockey players have the worst taste in fashion. ALL OF THEM. Its amazing how all their wives dress them and even still, can't seem to dress themselves if their life depeneded on it |

they still have to win one more to get to 16, Brodeur said he was most likely going to play next season, and Jersey can't get enough shots on Quick cuz the Kings are too good defensively as well.
Quick exposes the top of net but it takes an almost perfect shot (or fluke) to beat that, a perfect shot under tons of defensive duress... not an easy thing to accomplish. |

| don't be shocked if it does, every game has been very close, including the 4-0 game (for half it of). The longer the series goes, the more Quick could finally unravel and Brodeur could shine. Who knows? |

Brutal taste in girls too. The ones in those 2 pics are nothing wow and it always amazes me seeing some of their wives. McCabe's when he was in TO was unbearable. Came off as a raging bitch and even boozed I don't think I could jump in that. |

What an amazing story it would be to have a run like the kings suddenly end with the emergence of the devils. If the kings are fully committed to a team winning plan, and the devils buy into a resilience mentality to come back 3-2 and maybe more, it would make for an even better cup run.
That 4-0 was actually 2-0 going into the 3rd and within minutes it was 4-0. So pretty much each game has been air tight.
@ GGM they are horrible dressers and ya horrible taste with chicks. The hockey wives are smoking hot though. Each one I see is pretty solid and look great with age.
They also seem to have horrible taste in music. I guess its all the traveling and being away from developing your own taste rather than seeing what's cool and what your peers have seem to have an influences in their personal choices. |

hockey players attract and are sometimes attracted to the worst kinds from a personality standpoint. Also, many of these guys are from small Canadian towns, so lame dressers to go along with lame choices of women :p
The European guys like Henrik Lundquist generally have better taste, though he is one of only a handful of NHL players that could get a Victoria Secret model, imo. |
