the visual was so cute Lira. I said: "word, I'm going have a good trip on this. 5 seconds in it left me in a lonely dark place. Nah, not really but that was hardcore.

How untoward! All I did was state a fact. I didn't insult anyone at all! Unless you feel your personal and well-documented tastes are something to be ashamed of. Aww, pumpkin!

Not at all, I carry my superior taste with pride and conviction. :p

In all seriousness, I just had a strange thought: while I surely have called both you and Lira a try-hard pseudo-intellectual I take it back for Lira. Because he's never afraid to admit liking something that makes him look like an uneducated shallow fool. With you, however, I can't remember a single instance. Come on Hal, show us your dark side.

...

Wait, not the photobucket. I meant show us your bright side. :)

HELL YEAH, CLOCKS!!!

This is the same tune, right? :p

As for me not being afraid to admit I like bad music, it's probably because I've already heard dozens of elitists make all sorts of claims about the superiority of their most cherished music - yet they just couldn't bring themselves to like the same damn music. Also, I'm not exactly that much concerned about what other people think of me. If I did, I wouldn't have chosen linguistics, but rather a profession that paid me well so I could have a life full of bling. I would then buy a yellow Porsche, tan myself pitch black, and cruise around Brasília showing people how awesome I am. Because there's nothing more awesome than being a melanin-full yellow Porsche driver. Blasting the speakers with ghetto tech.

Truth be told, I ing love music. And I like dubstep too :D

And just to clarify it more for Radiohead.

I feel ya bro. Truth be told I even dug that jam about ing cars.

A lot of people say Elvis sucks (then which Elvis) the young handsome or old and fat. In the end all Elvis fans say is how man millions of people be wrong. I listen to everything and nothing. System-J will rip me a new one but I'm so sick of trance, progressive trance, progressive house, tribal, tribal house, Trouse, breakbeat, dnb, electro, etc......... I rather play 2 keys on my own keyboard than listen to most of this stuff.

Elvis rocks! :D

Good song. Took a little offense to the lyrics as I felt they were directed at me. Acid takes time to wear off so pardon me.

I was thinking this one just cause it had heart from him.

Always had love for the crooners even if they were selling whiskey and cigs and in Morrissey's case........... homosexuality and depression with a note of snobery that a listener couldn't even have cause Moz is very smart.

take the good with the bad

Ian
From what I've seen Live, two bands stand out. Foo Fighters because Grohl knows how to work an audience and it's fun easy listening singalong music and Muse for good riffs and stuff.

Muse - The Resistance Tour live concert from Seattle 2010

Honourable mentions to Serj from SOAD who was pretty damn good and the two bands I want to see, QOTSA & RHCP (as I like their earlier stuff mostly) and Them Crooked Vultures but since that's audio porn, I doubt they'll repeat their tour.

Coldplay, sometimes meh, often EURGH, occasionally 'oh this isn't too bad you know'
Lagrangian
I don't drink, but Yechid dah! This band is from WALES, and they ROCK!!
