A lot is being made these days of reverbs that accurately represent real places, but what reverb(s) are you guys liking for unnatural, unrealistic, far-out spaces and ambiences?
For me, it's my trusty old Tone2 Warmverb, and Aether. Aether is probably most well-known for its realistic verbs, but it can get crazy, especially with the Creativity expansion. |

not sure if you can buy it on your own but the MDE-X , from the korg legacy collection is great for unnatural sounding re-verb, I usually use it for sound design, and for weird automation tricks, works for me, its a multi unit though, has distortion..delay...and chorus built into it |

I seriously considered a MacBook Pro over the past few months, but didn't see enough compelling reasons to switch platforms at this point. |

I thought it was just delays in Ubermod?
Anyhoo, I'd say Shimmer/Room have tons of scope for weirdness should you wish to stay algorithmic |
