If they don't do an auto refund in full, or at least offer it as an option (ie go to replacement DJ show or take full refund) that is a weak move on their part. When it's not a multi-dj show you can't really pull that stunt. People paid money for 1 guy and without him coming they're entitled to that money back imo. |

So apparently they've booked Carlio Lio, Shogun, & Mark Sherry in replacement of Orjan. Honestly this is some damn good music there, but a very awkward lineup, but I'd love to see Mark Sherry... who I personally believe to be on par with Orjan.
It just pains me to see this desperation though.... sigh...

Orjan was suppose to play here in Edmonton Friday. Trust me, people here ain't too happy about the cancellation either.
There are quite a bit of other flights coming from Amsterdam to Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, not sure why his management couldn't find alternate flights for the show. I agree, can't see why he could not make the TO show, he had a couple days. He stated that he got sick which maybe true and he seems pretty bummed from his twitter posts. |

Considering Envy isn't exactly big, and probably not well funded, maybe the alternate flights were just too expensive?
There can be massive differences (thousands of dollars) on cross Atlantic flights at the last minute.
Hell it cost me $600 to get a ticket from Amsterdam to Zurich the day off, last summer. |
