It all depends who or what you're writing for.
In my english classes, I use MLA, of course.
In journalism, AP style.
It's a pain in the ass going back and forth between the two :mad: |

Most academic writing, in my experience, used MLA.
And obviously you use AP style in your journalism classes. |

It does.
I guess since I have to alternate between the two of them I notice the differences more, as oppose to someone who is used to writing MLA and doesn't have to.
The AP style book is a great tool, though, for any kind of writing IMO. |
