Hey there Thomas cool vid u go tthere.
production wise sounds good but I can't realy comment on much els as ive never herd of "Glitch Hop" ? whats the difference to Hip Hop?

peace man

Hey Peter,

So I basically came across Glitch Hop myself just last year. The Dubstep trend tired me out real fast so as I was scoping the internet I found this thing called Glitch Hop. I think you can describe it as Hip Hop that doesn't necessarily have lyrics. As the name implies it also makes heavy use of glitching techniques. Other varieties are like dubstep but at around 100bpm instead of the "traditional" 140bpm.

I want to say at this point that I normally produce Progressive House and I have for about 10 years. I'm new to Glitch Hop and it probably won't become my main thing.. I just like to write different styles sometimes to reset my head.. 4 to the Floor every day for years makes me go numb :)

Here is a mix of a small variety of Glitch Hop tracks by established producers that you can check out if you like. If I could produce like these guys I'd make Glitch Hop my main joint.

I'm gonna keep an eye on this Glitch Hop thing to see how it evolves.

I hope that answered your question.
People may correct me of course... maybe someone who's been involved for longer.

This style is completely out of my range lol but for some reason I was drawn to listen to this track till the end and knowing me personally, that's the good sign lol - works very well with this video which add some extra attractiveness to it - cool work Thomas.

PS.

How much Munich change over last 20 years??? - I was there for about 4 years and love it big time (around 86/90 - beautiful city!!!

Very accomplished work this.

On the subject matter, very topical just now although I like to think beyond the crowd, so I do wonder why it is all these people weren't protesting years ago when they were enjoying all the borrowed money. They were more than happy to fund consumption through borroing, but now they dont like payback time. Also note the Greeks didn't just borrow to fund lifestyles, they also didn't bother collecting Tax to repay the debt. I dislike what the Banks got up to, but the protestors over simply the argument as they love a demon to blame and divert attention from thier own greed to live on borrowing and get lots of mortgages.

Very cool, Thomas. I'm no expert here, but I've listened to the ocasional glitch-hop track over the past year or so and this is well above par IMO.

Loved the vid, too. Incidentally, the UC Davis pepper-spraying incident occurred right outside my wife's office building.

Sweet, man

I think i'm actually going to release it soon under my other glitch-type genre name: Tom the Chemist

I'm waiting to have a few tracks before I release in that genre.
