Hi guys had a crack at making some deep techno the other week and was after some feedback on it.

Really digging this sort of stuff at the minute, so hopefully will be making some more in the coming weeks.

All feedback welcome, good or bad.

Thanks

Also its avalible for free download, thats if anyone is interested.

Sounds pretty cool. They your own vocals?

The percs and hats sound pretty wet, I'd aim for something with more snap. So no verb and maybe use a transient designer to bring out some of the elements.
Also its pretty muddy.

Nice track thou, love this style of music

thanks for taking a listen, much appreciated.

Yeah the percussion is pretty wet. Not to sound too stupid but what do you mean transiant designer? How would this benifit the mixdown? Nice to get some tips.

Also yeah i can see what you mean with it being muddy. I've never used kicks so deep before with not much top snap on them so had trouble trying to fit them in with the bass. Also with having a couple of tom patterns as well seemed to take up majority of the low and low mid frequencies.

Maybe better selection of elements next time will work in my favour,

Basically you can use it to boost or reduce the attack and sustain of a sound, great for minimal sounding percs and samples.

I use the SPL Transient Designer, but the Waves TransX is nice also.
