| lol you got shut out game 1! but anyways, that game was sloppy on our part; no communication, no control whatsoever..it was just a mess, and not to mention, the devils skated pretty well. tied series now, we've lost game 2 of every series so I'm not worried. |

LOL same thing on every message board from Ranger fans. Same boring old jokes. When you win a tital more than 1 time in 70 years, then you can talk all the you want. When you make the playoffs less then the amount of times then making it since then you should not be bragging about anything. The whole rebuilding is a joke as well. So you been rebuilding since 94? LOL thats funny. King?? king of what? Never winning anything? When your team wins then talk and i will be the first to congratulate your team. Every win and you guys act like you just won the cup. You have a lonnnnggggg way to to go. Until then pipe down and enjoy the series.

show me one post in this thread about us bragging? like any real fan we support our team through wins and losses. no one is talking about legacy no one is poking fun of the past, all comments are directed at each individual game for each individual series in the present. it's only you devil fans who continue to violin the past and bring it into the present as if it bears any resemblance of the current team? maybe because you still have marty minding the net but that's about it.
i think its fair to say that any team that makes the playoffs should have their fans fully supporting them, your post has a sense of bravada a sense of highness as if you only speak from legacy and it being the only determining factor as to who can cheer for their team.
and this whole devils have how many championships, none of that is relevant to RIGHT NOW. As a yankees fan, do I debate every statistical topic with well you can't speak until you have 27 rings? Makes zero sense other then having the ability to 'BRAG' |

I'll take the W, but nonetheless I am not very excited about how we played in general. The first period alone was bordering on embarrassing (for both teams IMO: The Rangers looked like preschoolers who were just learning to pass the puck and work their skates, the Devils should have slaughtered us at that point, but also came up with a big, huge FAIL).
There was literally no communication on our end, it was horrifying. Terrible hockey for the most part, minus the goaltending of course ;) Glad we were able to turn it around and play a *little* more like the team I saw in reg season, although I certainly think we are far from where we were in the winter months. Frustrating, even with the win, because I know what we are CAPABLE of. Thank god for our KING with another shutout. I do so believe the goal count is 8-2 ;)
Also, props to Captain Cally. He is the go-to guy on our team that goes out there with passion EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Wish all the guys had his spark.
Missed most of the second game due to work, so no comment there. |

| No ing class at all. Tortilla chips sent out Rupp to do that . Honestly, I couldn't believe that he would go up like that to his ex-teammate. I popped few veins in my head because of this. |
