Awesome Cherry Beach party. Perfect way to kick start the summer.

especially when only one entrance had the donation box....most people I spoke to walked in from the back...for free...
I don't mind paying...but they should have been collecting from both ends imo....

From what I can gather, Cherry Beach events are on the line after this party.
I presume that it was because of far too many people combined with some environmental damage/littering.
I hope this gets fixed, CB is a summer tradition.

Yup, Promise have been denied their permits by the city until at least June 17.
Espresso
Promise always either has volunteers or they just do the clean-up afterwards themselves (Dave and Irving go around and pick up people's garbage)
Platform on the other hand had 4000+ people (according to them) and $5 a person, but they couldn't clean up or hire people to clean up for them, leftover garbage was there until at least Wednesday after the party and the Wind Surfing club complained and the city officials didn't like it, now Promise is struggling to get their license renewed for this year.
Who to blame? Platform for not being able to clean up? the 4K+ crowd not giving a and leaving their garbage out there all spread across the beach?
I don't know, but Platform could've done a better job planning on post event cleanup.
let's hope Promise get their license back, it would be devastating.
