It's not everyday a breath of fresh air arrives to the Dublin music scene but nonetheless when it happens, it does it big. Never a more fitting scene for Dublins "WAN THE" Dominic Smith. Having bounced onto the clubbing circuit only months ago. This talented young producer has achieved more in the past few months then what many people take years to do.
Rewind back into 2010 where the then 17 year old "Domo" as he is affectionately known to his peers began searching for that little bit extra. He knew there was more to offer musically and low and behold like many of us discovered the beauty of HOUSE.
Immersing himself in all things bouncy, melodic and pumping he realised this was it. He had found his calling. Low and behold the secret of House began to surround him and he took it by the bulls. Taking inspiration from industry heavies such as Burnski, Adam Port, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Maya Jane Coles and Rio Pad Ice to name but a few Dominic is already carving out his own path to success.
With Dominic now mastering the art of production he seems to have his finger on the plus sand dishes out tracks left right and centre week in week out. His Juggernaut attitude has been noted by many and already this boy wonder has his debut release on Gooseneck Records - Talk about track...
All in all 2012 is looking bright for this young Dubliner. With plenty more tracks in the pipeline and a number of DJ sets throughout Dublins venues this kid is definitely one to watch...
