Really like how these sound, they're pretty narrow but offer great wideness, and the top end really has that shine you need. Use these for mastering and mixing. They're not very comfortable though.
I have the akg271 but I dont use those that much anymore, those are super wide though.

| Yes, the cups are pretty small, compared to many cans they are narrow in a sense, but for the size they sound pretty wide. This also affects the comfort. They translate very good though, they are less unnatural and surgical than my 271mk2's. The 271 is a perfect DJ can(although caution on DJ swag), but not so much for production/mastering imo, although you can control the depth well in those things. |
