Why is this place going down the hill. The more I come over to this area all I see is event listings. Or I am I just looking in the wrong section.. what happened to the days of the word association topics and "serious topics"...

Well, instead of complaining why not try starting some "serious topics" yourself?

Not trying to be rude, but just saying be proactive -- start up conversation yourself if that's what you want to see on here. One discussion may lead to another and another and spark up some good threads -- you never know!

Should he be deleting threads like this one just cuz some of you don't think it's interesting?

What are some good examples of threads that are up to par?

I mean, I am all for not seeing anymore DubstepDist or FocusOC posts....

But honestly, when a serious topic is started, it's almost always highjacked by some house vs trance talk or two people fighting.

This is why i started this Dave. Do we need a new moderator? Seriously. When there is a new post the link for event listing is right under the subject, maybe it needs to be bigger. Even smart ass threads are better to post on than seeing even links on the main forum talk page. I dont know, maybe i was just bored last night. eh
