I downloded the Buzz.. I can open those demo tracks and they sound ok. But I just can't get the basics of that machine...
How I can use those some buzz synths/sounds with Fruity? |

| Umh... How can I see those notes that are playing in those demosongs? |

meh, its really difficult to explain if you don't have tracking experience. :P The help files are best to get u started.
I love buzz and the flexibility it offers, its just way too unstable, and the sequencing interface is really bad right now. To load buzz machines, go into fruity, and add a 'buzz generator adapter' channel, and load a buzz machine .dll file into that channel. |

| can buzz effects be loaded into fruity too? |
|

| yep, just use the buzz effect adapter. but i dunno, after fooling around with it, the machines and effects don't have the same sound as when used with buzz... I'm a tracker and heart too, just hoping a buzz 2 comes out. |

| You mean to tell me James Holden uses Buzz in to make his music? He is one of the coolest producers out there imo...man i'm definetely going to have to check it out. |

| Yeah, I read in a Sasha interview that James Holden uses Buzz pretty much exclusively. Anyone else here played with this cool proggie? It would be good to get a tips thread started for it.... |

Yeah, i've tried everything, but I always come back to buzz. All info is on buzzmachines.com
Someone uploaded (in the reviews section) a nice emulation of 4strings - into the night using only buzz machines. Sounds just like the original. hehe
Concept is simple, generators hook up to effects, hook up to master, in any combination you can think of. Patterns are made, using a tracker like editor (ticks), and arranged in a multi pattern sequencer. Patterns can be made for generators or effects, and any slider or paramater can be automated in the pattern.
The program itself hasn't been developed for quite a while, but buzz2 is still under development. So there are quite a few bugs that you might need to iron out. The great part is that there are SO many machines u can use, and of course, you can load up your favorite vsti and vst effects. (like the fm7). |

This is not true any more, and hasn't been for a long time. Cubase is an entire production suite. It started off as sequencer/notation software (back in the days of Atari). The most recent version (Cubase SX) is a sequencer, notator, hard-disk recorder, and mastering suite all in one. It integrates MIDI, VST, Rewire (Rebirth and Reason), and Audio tracks all into one great mixer interface. It does come with a couple of free VST synths, but they're not that great. Where Cubase shines is it's MIDI implementation and VST support... |

| Anyone use Acid Pro 3.0? How's that in comparison to other programs, like Fruity Loops? I've got both, but I've only played around a little bit with Acid Pro. |
